Prague Pride Parade to disrupt traffic on Saturday, up to 70,000 expected

Traffic in Prague’s city centre will be disrupted this Saturday as the annual Pride Parade takes to the streets—one of the main events of the Prague Pride Festival. The parade begins at noon from the bottom of Wenceslas Square, passing through Old Town and ending at Letná Park around 4 PM.

Up to 70,000 participants are expected. Police, emergency services, event organizers, and more than 100 volunteers will be on-site to help ensure the event runs safely. A music festival at Letná will follow, continuing until 10 PM.

Now in its 15th year, Prague Pride features more than 180 events, ranging from debates and workshops to concerts and community gatherings. The parade remains the symbolic highlight of the week-long festival.
