Czechia has not called on Israel to provide aid in Gaza

A group of thirty countries, led by the United Kingdom, this week called on Israel to stop obstructing the delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Czechia is not among them.

"Statements such as the conclusions of the European Council or the declaration by Vice-President Kallas speak for us," explains Eduard Hulicius (KDU-ČSL) from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The appeal sends a clear message: let's address the humanitarian situation in Gaza. The Czech Republic could have signed on to that," Tomáš Petříček told Czech Radio Plus
