Motorcyclist who rode onto airport grounds in Prague faces up to eight years in prison

The motorcyclist who entered Václav Havel Airport in Prague last week faces up to eight years in prison. Police are investigating the man for several criminal offences, although he has not yet been charged. This was confirmed to ČTK by Josef Urban, spokesperson for the foreign police unit operating at the airport. According to a previous statement by Jiří Hannich from the airport’s press department, the motorcyclist entered the airport grounds but did not breach the restricted security zone. As a precaution, air traffic was briefly suspended.
