Siniaková and Townsend advance to Wimbledon doubles semifinals

Kateřina Siniaková and Taylor Townsend have reached the Wimbledon doubles semifinals. The defending champions booked their spot with a straight-sets win over Hungary’s Tímea Babos and Brazil’s Luisa Stefani, 7–6, 6–3, on the grass courts at the All England Club.

In the semifinals, they’ll face the fourth-seeded pair, Hsieh Su-wei from Taiwan and Latvia’s Jelena Ostapenko.

Siniaková has also advanced to the mixed doubles final alongside Sem Verbeek of the Netherlands. They will face Joe Salisbury and Luisa Stefani in the title match on Thursday.
