Wimbledon men's: Lehečka disappointed with second-round finish
Czech tennis player Jiří Lehečka was disappointed after Wednesday's loss at Wimbledon, finishing in the second round. In an interview with journalists, however, he praised his defeater, Italian Mattia Bellucci, to whom he lost 6:7, 1:6, 5:7. The 23-year-old native of Mladá Boleslav now wants to take a mental break from tennis for a while.
"I have to acknowledge the quality of my opponent. He played a really great match. He was comfortable with everything. He really performed great from start to finish. He was concentrated, served well and moved well. In important moments, he played exactly what he needed to," said Mr. Lehečka. He lost to 73rd-ranked player Bellucci, whom he was facing for the first time, after two hours.
