Three Prague shopping centers closed due to bomb threat

Three major shopping centers in Prague were closed and evacuated for most of the day following a bomb threat sent by email. The affected locations were Palladium at Náměstí Republiky Square, Westfield Chodov, and Centrum Černý Most.

Police carried out thorough inspections with bomb squads and confirmed no explosives were found. All three centers reopened shortly after 3:30 p.m. Authorities are now investigating the incident as a criminal offense. If caught, the person responsible could face up to five years in prison.

Dozens of officers were involved in the operation. The centers later apologized on social media for the disruption. Similar threats have occurred in the past, including one earlier this year at Palladium.
