Growing number of Czech firms using AI

Thirty-nine percent of companies in the Czech Republic use artificial intelligence (AI) in their daily activities, which is almost triple the number it was a year ago, according to a survey conducted by Median among representatives of more than 13,000 medium and large companies. Forty-four percent of companies said they are planning to introduce AI in the near future. Only 17 per cent said they do not plan to use AI, compared to almost half last year.

AI is most often applied in automating routine tasks, such as research, customer support and predictive data analysis. According to the survey, more than 34 per cent of Czech companies have achieved a high level of digitalization, which puts the Czech Republic just below the EU average.
