Traffic at Prague Airport sees 11 percent year-on-year increase in April

Prague’s Václav Havel Airport handled almost 1 million and 400 thousand passengers in April, an increase of 11 percent year-on-year, according to statistics posted on the airport's website. The most frequent destinations were London, followed by Paris and Amsterdam. The airport also recorded an increase in arrivals and departures, with a total of 11,000 in April. From the beginning of the year to the end of April, 4.57 million people passed through the airport, an increase of about 8.5 percent year-on-year. The amount of cargo transported also increased year-on-year.
