One of the main prizes at Anifilm festival won by Czech film ‘Living Large'

One of the main prizes at the international Anifilm festival in Liberec was won by the film ‘Living Large’ (Život k sežrání) by Czech director Kristina Dufková, winning in the category of feature films for children and young people. One of the characters was voiced by actor Jiří Bartoška, ​​who died on Thursday. The film is an adaptation of the French book of the same name by Mikäel Ollivier.

The winners of the twenty-fourth annual six-day animated film festival were announced by the organisers of Anifilm on Saturday evening. At the end of the gala evening, festival director Tomáš Rychecký mentioned that this year's attendance will probably be a record again, with over 36,000 people in attendance in Liberec this year. Next year, the festival will take place from May 5th to 10th.
