STEM poll shows ANO leading with 32.2 percent

The opposition ANO party, led by Andrej Babiš, would currently win general elections to the Chamber of Deputies, securing 32.2 percent of the vote, according to the results of a STEM poll for CNN Prima News, published on Sunday. The SPOLU (Together) coalition made up of the ruling  the Civic Democrats, Christian Democrats and TOP 09, would come second with 19.5 percent. Both groups have slightly lost support compared to last week’s survey.

The anti-EU Freedom and Direct Democracy Party (SPD) of Tomio Okamura would place third with 11.6 percent, ahead of Mayors and Independents who would get 10.1 percent of the vote. The only other parties likely to cross the  5 percent threshold needed to win seats in the lower house would be the Pirate Party, the Motorists and the Stačilo! (Enough) coalition.
