Prague Airport postpones all flights due to heavy fog

Václav Havel International Airport had to postpone all arrivals and departures early on Wednesday morning due to heavy fog. According to the airport’s press department, 24 arrivals and departures were affected, six flights were cancelled and all morning flights were delayed. What further complicated the situation is that Václav Havel Airport cannot currently use its main runway, which has been closed for repairs since the end of March. Air traffic is being transferred to an alternate runway, which, is not as well equipped for bad weather conditions as the main runway. Traffic was fully renewed at 10 am.
