Close to 10,000 people visited Prague Castle on Open Doors Day

Thousands of people availed themselves of the opportunity to tour Prague Castle for free and view premises otherwise inaccessible to the public on Open Doors Day on Saturday. Natálie Máchová from the Prague Castle Administration said people waited from the early morning hours for the special guided tours. In addition to the representative areas, people could visit the permanent exhibitions in the Prague Castle compound, St. Vitus Cathedral, Golden Lane, the Old Royal Palace, St. George's Basilica and the Prague Castle Gardens. Altogether, Prague Castle welcomed over 9, 600 visitors on Saturday.
