Czech female biathletes come eighth in relay in Nové Město, male biathletes tenth

Czechia's male biathletes in Nové Město na Moravě finished in tenth place in the last relay of the 2024–25 Biathlon World Cup. After a promising start by Tomáš Mikyska, Vítězslav Hornig left the medal positions, and Jonáš Mareček and Michal Krčmář also had to go through a penalty lap.

The French men won for the fifth time in the Cup season, with Émilien Claude, Oscar Lombardot, Fabien Claude and Quentin Fillon Maillet securing gold at the Vysočina Arena. The Norwegian brothers Tarjei and Johannes Thingnes Bö won silver in the relay races, and they will soon conclude their careers after the remaining two rounds of the Biathlon World Cup in Pokljuka and Oslo. The Czechs were missing Markéta Davidová, who only completed Friday's sprint on the Nové Město tracks while currently undergoing treatment for a herniated disk.
