Annual inflation slows to 2.7 percent
Consumer prices in czechia increased by 2.7% year-on-year in February, slowing down from a 2.8% rise in January. Month-on-month, prices rose by 0.2%, according to a preliminary estimate by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO).
Analysts had predicted a similar trend. The final inflation figure for February will be released by the CSO on March 11. According to a previous statement by the authority’s chairman, Marek Roječek, the final figure is expected to differ from the preliminary estimate by no more than 0.1 percentage point.
