PM Fiala: Only an increase in military support for Ukraine will prevent Russia's expansion

Prime Minister Petr Fiala called for an increase in military support for Ukraine, stating that this is the only way to prevent an aggressive Russia from expanding further, just a few hundred kilometers from Czechia.

The prime minister made this statement today on the X network ahead of a meeting of European leaders in London on Sunday. He emphasized that only a well-armed Europe can ensure sustainable and long-term peace, adding that this will not be possible without increasing defense spending to at least three percent of GDP.
