Czech forward David Pastrňák ties Jágr’s record in Bruins' loss

Czech forward David Pastrňák scored the only goal for the Boston Bruins in their 2-1 loss to the New York Islanders, extending his NHL point streak to 16 games and tying Jaromír Jágr’s Czech record. His goal in the 51st minute, assisted by Pavel Zacha, also marked his 800th career NHL point.

Pastrňák, who is 28, has recorded 14 goals and 17 assists during this streak. Despite his contributions, the Bruins lost their fifth consecutive game. With 73 points (31 goals, 42 assists) in 60 games, Pastrňák is tied for fifth in NHL scoring. The last Bruin to score in 16 straight games was Phil Kessel in 2008.
