Czechia’s annual Muriel award for best comic book goes to Winton Was Not Alone

This year's Muriel Comics Awards were dominated by Tereza Verecká and Mikuláš Podprocký’s Winton Was Not Alone, which won in three categories. The story, depicting the rescue of children before World War II, was named Best Comic Book. Verecká received the award for Best Script, while Podprocký won for Best Drawing.

Science fiction writer and journalist Ondřej Neff, founder of the daily opinion column Neviditelný pes, was inducted into the Czech Comics Hall of Fame in Prague for his contributions to the medium.
