Protests, debates and cultural events held in support of Ukraine

Protests, debates, exhibitions and concerts are being held in Czechia on Monday to commemorate the third anniversary of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine. Members of the public and politicians have been laying flowers at the statue of Ukrainian poet Taras Shevchenko on Kinsky Square and gatherings in support of Ukraine are planned in front of the Russian and American embassies in Prague. President Pavel will receive NGOs and individuals who have supported Ukraine at Prague Castle and a conference on the drawn-out Russian aggression against Ukraine is being held in the Senate. Events have also been planned in Brno and other big cities.

Thousands of people gathered on Old Town Square on the eve of the anniversary to demonstrate their support for Ukraine.
