Czechia braces for extreme cold

After an icy weekend, when night temperatures dropped to -27°C in the Jizera and Ore Mountains, a severe frost warning remains in place for most of the Czech Republic. Temperatures are expected to drop to -15 °C at nights and may remain below freezing point during daytime. Sunny weather and warmer temperatures are expected at the close of the week.
