Workers discover foundations of historic brewery in Jindřichův Hradec

Archaeologists have uncovered a section of a historical brewery in Jindřichův Hradec. The building, which was previously destroyed by fire, is currently being reconstructed. During the extensive renovation, workers discovered equipment beneath the floor that dates back to the 18th century.

The reconstruction of the brewery in Jindřichův Hradec is expected to be completed by 2026. The archaeological discoveries and necessary adjustments will not affect the planned timeline.
