Babiš refuses to go into government with the parties of the five-party coalition

Andrej Babiš, the leader of the ANO movement, has ruled out forming a government with the parties in the current cabinet, including the Pirates, who left last year. Should ANO form a government after the autumn parliamentary elections, it wants to cooperate with parties and movements that agree with its program. Babiš sees the re-setting of the maximum retirement age at 65 and the abolition of the television and radio licence fee as priorities that will be key in any coalition negotiations.

The leader of ANO further stated that ANO still has two candidates for prime minister: himself and former Industry and Transport Minister Karel Havlíček.
