More than half of Czechs plan to cut spending in 2025

More than half of Czechs plan to cut spending in 2025, according to the results of a survey carried out by the Median polling agency. Fifty-five cent of respondents said they would need to cut back on spending in the coming year. Women are more likely economize than men, and only 13 percent of respondents believe they will be able to make ends meet without financial restrictions. Two-fifths of respondents plan to save on food, especially people living in large cities with over 100,000 inhabitants. Others intend to cut back on sports, leisure time activities and holidays. A third of respondents, mostly people between 18 and 29 years of age, said they will seek other sources of income to make ends meet.
