Ceske Radiokomunikace to build Czechia's largest data centre
Ceske Radiokomunikace, Czechia's largest TV and radio transmitter operator, has received zoning approval to build the country’s largest data centre in Prague-Zbraslav. The CZK 2bn project is set to be completed by the end of 2026, the company announced.
The centre will span 5,622 square metres and house 2,500 server racks with 26 megawatts of power, offering customizable spaces for clients. It will be built on revitalised land previously used for medium-wave radio transmitters.
CEO Milos Mastnik said the company aims to attract large firms unable to use Czech data centres due to capacity constraints. Ceske Radiokomunikace currently operates eight data centres, with demand for capacity steadily rising.
