Slavia and Plzeň suffer defeats in Europa League group stage

Slavia Prague lost 1-2 to Anderlecht Brussels in their sixth Europa League group stage match, marking their fourth consecutive defeat in the competition. While the Belgian team moves closer to direct qualification for the eighth round, Slavia's playoff hopes remain uncertain as they stay outside the qualifying positions.

In another Europa League match, Viktoria Plzeň suffered their first defeat in the competition, falling 1-2 to Manchester United. Matěj Vydra gave Plzeň an early second-half lead, but substitute Rasmus Höjlund turned the game around with goals in the 62nd and 88th minutes, securing victory for the three-time Champions League winners.
