Motorists Party confirms its leadership

The Motorists Party confirmed its leadership for the next two years during a congress held in Prague on Saturday. Party vice-chairman Jiří Barták announced that 1,415 new membership applications had been approved.

The leadership remains unchanged, with Petr Macinka continuing as chairman and Jiří Barták and Renata Maršíková serving as vice-chairpersons. Barták also noted that the membership recruitment process will be completed once membership fees are paid.

The Motorists' Board awarded the title of Honorary President to MEP Filip Turek, who won the June elections on the joint Motorists’ ticket with the Oath movement.

ANO deputy chairman and shadow Prime Minister Karel Havlíček addressed the Motorists' Congress, expressing his openness to potential cooperation with the party in various areas. However, he emphasized that ANO is not currently seeking coalitions and aims to win the elections by a wide margin.
