Prague ranked among Europe’s top ten cities to visit in autumn
According to a recent study, the Czech capital stands out as one of the most popular European cities to visit in autumn. Tourists love the city's architectural beauty, which, combined with the reds and yellows typical of nature during this season, make Prague an idyllic setting.
Prague, dressed in autumnal colours, has been recognised as one of Europe's most picturesque destinations for this time of year, ranked seventh in the most beautiful European cities, according to an analysis by travel company Travelbag. Their findings were based on the volume of Google searches and the use of hashtags on Instagram.
On social media, the Czech capital is a phenomenon. With 10,833 posts on Instagram under the hashtag #autumninprague, users are capturing the essence of its autumn landscapes, where historic buildings such as Prague Castle and Charles Bridge take on a new beauty framed by the changing colour of the leaves. Open-air cafés and local markets, offering traditional delicacies and drinks like mulled wine and hot chocolate, add to the unique atmosphere of the city in this season.
