Disposal of kratom will have new rules, with Senate approval

New regulations governing substances like kratom and low-THC cannabis are expected to take effect in December, aiming to restrict their sale. These changes come from an amendment to the law on addictive substances, which the Senate approved today without changes. The amendment, primarily aimed at protecting children from substances with psychomodulatory and psychoactive effects, will now be sent to Czech President Petr Pavel for approval.
