Hundreds of schools in Czechia receive anonymous bomb threat
Police officers are investigating a threatening e-mail from an anonymous sender alleging that explosives are stored in hundreds of schools across Czechia. The threatening email was sent to schools on Tuesday, police spokesman Ondřej Moravčík confirmed.
Police said on social media that they had no reason to believe that anyone was at risk and have not issued an evacuation order. However, some schools have already decided to close for the day.
The National Headquarters for Countering Terrorism, Extremism and Cybercrime, among others, is involved in identifying those behind the threat.
