Consumer prices up by 2.2 % year-on-year in July
Consumer prices in Czechia rose by 2.2 % year-on-year in July after a 2 % increase in June, the Czech Statistics Office reported. Compared to June, prices increased by 0.7 percent. The year-on-year price growth was driven by price increases in housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, as well as package holidays and to a lesser extent, food and non-alcoholic beverages.
