Foreign Minister Lipavský: Czechia and Greece have room for more cooperation
There is room for strengthening bilateral cooperation between Czechia and Greece, including in the economic sector, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský said after a meeting with his Greek counterpart, Yorgos Gerapetritis in Prague on Thursday.
According to Gerapetritis, there is also potential for greater cooperation in the energy sector. Both diplomatic chiefs said the two countries are also cooperating on getting aid to Ukraine.
Speaking after the meeting, Minister Lipavský also mentioned that Greece was a frequent holiday destination for Czechs, praising the country’s hospitality. He also said Czech firefighters were again ready to assist the country in fighting wildfires, which frequently occur during the summer.
