Open House Prague festival gets underway

The 10th edition of the annual Open House Prague festival gets underway on Monday. The week-long event will see 115 normally inaccessible buildings and spaces around the capital open to the public.

This year’s edition of Open House pays tribute to Czechoslovak architects Josef Fuchs and Oldřich Tyl, who designed the Trade Fair Palace. The festival also commemorates Josef Fanta by opening the Hlávka Student Dormitory, and Karel Hubáček, the author of Prague’s DISK Theatre.
