Poll gives ANO 34.5 percent, Civic Democrats 16

The opposition ANO party would win general elections in March with 34.5 percent voter support, suggests a freshly released poll by the Kantar Agency for Czech Television. ANO were slightly down compared to a February Kantar poll, while the Civic Democrats improved by 1.5 percent, receiving the backing of 16 percent of voters.

The Pirate Party would come third with 10.5 percent of the vote, followed by the Freedom and Direct Democracy with 8 percent. The Mayors and Independents would also make it to the lower house with the backing of 6.5 percent of the votes.

TOP 09 and the Social Democrats would not reach the five-percent threshold needed to win seats in the Chamber of Deputies, suggests the poll.
