PM Fiala to discuss security and economic cooperation with Biden

Prime Minister Petr Fiala wants to discuss security and economic cooperation during his visit to the United States in mid-April. In an interview for Blesk.cz on Thursday, the Czech prime minister said the visit reflects the excellent relations between the two countries and highlighted the fact that it is taking place on the 25th anniversary of Czechia’s accession to NATO.

Mr. Fiala is scheduled to hold talks with Mr. Biden at the White House on April 15. According to a statement from White House spokeswoman, Karine Jean-Pierre, the two politicians will reaffirm their continued support for Ukraine and discuss a wide range of topics, including security issues, economic opportunities and democratic values.
