Angolan president on state visit to Czechia

President Petr Pavel on Wednesday received the president of Angola, Joao Lourenco, at Prague Castle. The two sides discussed international security, bilateral ties and possible areas of cooperation, among others in the field of security, aviation and transport, smart agriculture, mining and tourism.

Czech and Angolan representatives also signed a memorandum of understanding on policy consultations between the two countries’ foreign ministries. This should be followed up by contracts on mutual cooperation, protection and promotion of investments, or on the avoidance of double taxation.
