Swedes win men's relay at Biathlon World Championship, Czechia seventh
The Swedish squad of Viktor Brandt, Jesper Nelin and Martin Ponsiluoma claimed Sweden’s first-ever IBU World Championship men’s relay title in Nové Město na Moravě on Saturday. The Norwegian team, had a significant lead of almost a minute, but on the final shooting, Vetle Sjåstad Christiansen received three penalty loops. As a result, the Norwegians finished second, just one second ahead of the French team, which placed third. The other places in the top six were taken by the teams from Germany, the USA, and Italy. Czechia placed seventh.
