Traffic at Prague’s airport running without disruptions
Traffic at Prague's Václav Havel Airport is running without restrictions on Sunday, following disruptions on Saturday caused by thick fog and a malfunctioning weather station damaged by lightning.
According to the airport’s spokeswoman, planes have been arriving in Prague without major delays. However, the damage to the weather station has not yet been resolved and could potentially cause problems if adverse weather conditions return.
Some 21 planes had to be diverted to other airports on Saturday and nine connections were cancelled due to the weather-related complications.
