Highest flood alert still in force in five places

Some 60 places in Czechia remain under flood alert on Friday morning, following several days of heavy rain and melting snow.

The highest of the three flood alert levels was reported on the Vltava River in Český Krumlov, and on four places on the Elbe, including the city of Ústí nad Labem and Děčín.

Around ten measuring stations reported reaching the second level and some 50 places had the lowest flood warning level.
