Consumer price growth slows down in Czechia

Year-on-year consumer price growth in Czechia slowed to 7.3 percent in November, down from 8.5 percent in October, according to figures released by the Czech Statistics Office on Monday. Month-on-month, prices rose by 0.1 percent.

The growth in prices was registered mainly in the area of food and electricity as well as gas and solid fuels. Despite a renewed slowdown in inflation after a surge in October, price growth is still well above the Czech National Bank's two-percent target.
