President Pavel to move into official residence on return from US

President Petr Pavel and his wife Eva are planning to move into the Lumbe Villa, the official residence of the Czech president located near Prague Castle, after returning from a trip to the United States next week, the Czech News Agency reported on Tuesday.

President Pavel previously told CNN Prima News in a June interview that he and his wife plan to live there during the work week. Mr. Pavel is currently commuting to Prague from his permanent home in the village of Černouček in central Bohemia.

The Lumbe Villa, which dates back to the mid-19th century, is the former residence of ex-presidents Miloš Zeman and Václav Klaus.
