PM: Russian and Belarusian athletes can compete in Czechia as neutrals
The government has confirmed that Russian and Belarusian athletes who do not formally represent their country and are in clubs that are not based in these countries will be allowed to participate in competitions and matches held in Czechia. They must not wear symbols supporting the invasion or express themselves publicly to that effect, the prime minister said. The cabinet moved to ease the ban on Russian and Belarusian athletes competing in this country so as to align the Czech position on this issue with other European countries.
