Charles University’s Milena Králíčková to head Czech Rectors' Conference

The rector of Charles University, Milena Králíčková, has been appointed the chair of the Czech Rectors' Conference for a two-year-term. She replaced the current chair, Rector of Masaryk University Martin Bareš.

The Conference of Rectors brings together rectors of public and state universities and also 17 private universities in Czechia. The mission of the 45-member body is to deal with fundamental issues of higher education, taking up standpoints and enforcing them in legislative and executive institutions and authorities.
