Another Russian name may be added to Czechia’s national sanctions list
Interior Minister Vít Rakušan and Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský will examine the possibility of including Rostislav Zorikov, the son-in-law of Russian arms dealer Boris Obnosov, on the national sanctions list. Mr. Rakušan made the announcement on his Twitter account on Thursday.
According to the news site Aktuálně, Zorikov lives in Prague and is using money from Russia's aggression in Ukraine to buy real estate and cars.
Czechia has so far placed three people on its national sanctions list for supporting Russia's invasion of Ukraine. They are Russian businessman Vladimir Yevtushenko and his son Felix Yevtushenko and the head of the Russian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Kirill.
