Czechia: Ukraine to remain high on V4 agenda, despite differences

The war in Ukraine will remain an important topic on the Visegrad Four agenda despite existing differences between the member states, the Czech Foreign Ministry said as the country took over chairmanship of the alliance on July 1. "We are witnessing the biggest military aggression in Europe since the Second World War and we cannot pretend that nothing is happening,” Jaroslav Kurfürst, a senior official at the Czech Foreign Ministry told Czech Radio. He said the Czech presidency of the Visegrad Four is based on three pillars - striving for a secure and advanced society, an innovative and interconnected economy, and support for Ukraine.
