Fiala: Czechia has provided Ukraine with 645 anti-tank guided missiles so far this year
In the first five months of this year, Czechia provided Ukraine with 24 tanks, 76 infantry fighting vehicles and 645 anti-tank guided missiles, Prime Minister Petr Fiala announced at a press conference at the Ministry of Defence on Tuesday, which was also attended by Defence Minister Jana Černochová and Chief of the Army General Staff Karel Řehka. In addition, the Czech government also sent 16 special air defence system vehicles, 57,000 cartridges for cannons and howitzers, and 144 anti-aircraft weapons, as well as other military equipment, spare parts, fuel and protective equipment against chemical and biological weapons.
Ms Černochová said that the army still has more equipment available that can be delivered to the invaded country.
