Kvitová wins 31st WTA title in Berlin

Petra Kvitová has picked up her 31st WTA title after winning tennis’s Berlin Open on Sunday. The world no. 9 and no. 7 seed in the competition defeated Croatia's Donna Vekic 6:2, 7:6 in the final to celebrate her sixth triumph on grass.

Kvitová, who is 33, dominated the duel in one hour and 43 minutes after going through the tournament in the German capital without losing a single set.
