Government ministries lease hydrogen-powered cars

Two Czech government ministries, the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and the Ministry of the Environment, have leased hydrogen-powered cars for a year, the offices revealed at a press conference on Wednesday. They expect the cars will reduce operating costs from CZK 4 per kilometre for conventional petrol or diesel-fuelled cars to CZK 2.5 per kilometre. Both ministries have one car each, for which they pay CZK 240,000 for the annual lease.
