Bankruptcies in Czechia on the rise

The number of personal bankruptcies declared in Czechia in May of this year reached 1,215, which is 184 more than in the previous month, according to statistics published by CRIF –the Czech Credit Bureau.  At the same time, 1,271 personal bankruptcy petitions were filed, 188 more than in April. Most personal bankruptcies were declared in Moravia-Silesia, Central Bohemia and Ústí nad Labem.  The lowest number of bankruptcies was declared in the Karlovy Vary region.
