Czech athlete Martin Vlach takes bronze at modern pentathlon World Cup

Czech athlete Martin Vlach took the bronze medal in the men’s modern pentathlon at the Pentathlon World Cup in Budapest on Saturday.

The 26-year-old Czech, who was defending last year’s gold, finished with 1525 points behind the victorious Woongtae Jun of Korea and the Egyptian Mohanad Shaban, who came second.
