Evacuation of Czech nationals from Sudan continues

Two Czech citizens evacuated from Sudan arrived safely in Berlin on Monday on a German plane, Foreign Minister Jan Lipavský announced on Twitter. The foreign minister said steps were being undertaken to get the remaining three Czechs out of the country as soon as possible as fierce clashes continue between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) paramilitary. Two Czech nationals who are in the southern town of Nyala are being evacuated with the help of Turkey. The last Czech on the list has relatives in Sudan and may decide to remain in the country.
