Ministry trying to get Czechs out of Sudan

The Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Prague is trying to get Czechs who have been stranded in Sudan since violence erupted there out of the country. Four Czechs stuck in Sudan have been put on an international evacuation list.

The US, France and other states are already withdrawing their personnel from Sudan.

Mariana Wernerová of Czechia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday that colleagues in Cairo, Brussels and Prague were working to get the Czechs onto planned convoys.
